"I do not meet many people like you. I think, somehow, you must forgive me, perhaps we are both connected somehow?"
"Well, I'm a gemini, when were you born?"

As long as we're talking about weirdness of the past...

This should make your day a little more surreal... (safe for work, but I make no guarantees about your sanity after)

Wow. Thanks for the link, though I'm not sure I'll ever be the same. I've decided to cope with the images stuck in my head now by sending that site to everyone I know. Insanity loves company, right?

EXACTLY!

All should share in the glory of that Shatner recording!

There's worse...

Surely this cannot be as bad as Leonard Nimoy singing 'Bilbo Baggins - the bravest hobbit in the world' complete with psychedelic video circa 1975, made on a budget so low that it can evade radar better than a stealth fighter?

Actually...

Nimoy did several albums... my dad has one, I forget the exact name, but it's supposed to be Nimoy as Spock doing little ditties, such as "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Earth"... there's also his song "Highly Illogical", which my dad claims is not on there, although he could be mistaken.

Are you, by any chance, referring to the Legendary Frog... movies? On Flash, or something? Just wondering, because my brother has several memorized, and he entertains my dad by reciting them--complete with voices--whenever we're all in the car. I like Wayne quite a bit. And all of the "How to Take Care of Your One Ring" instructions.

If you aren't talking about these little cartoons, I take back everything I've said and have no knowledge of this post. It wasn't me. :)

You lost me there...

I'm not, at least I'm pretty sure I'm not. I was referring to this.

God save us from star's vanity projects.

Fellowship of the Ring came out before I was married and respectable, and was therefore sharing a flat with three other unmarried and disrespectable blokes. I think we managed to come out with every variation of scatalogical humour relating to rings being fingered, etc, within five minutes of leaving the cinema.

On the other finger...

Sadly enough, I have to admit that, unlike Shatner's effort, that song was not completely dreadful. Maybe it's because I listened to the songs back to back, but Nemoy actually has a decent singing voice... the only Shatner song that I can stand is on "Fear of Pop v.1"... track five.

Or perhaps their chakras were aligned? Takes a good mechanic to do that, I hear. *eg*

Aligning one's chakras isn't that difficult, really. Just practice your savasana (Corpse Pose). Although I can see how aligning with someone else's chakras might be a touch more difficult.

The real trouble, though, is getting one's chakras to open fully.

I'm not sure the whole chakra theory completely holds water, but there's a pretty undeniable mind-body connection that seems to give the whole thing credence.

It's an interesting topic. I know there have been studies about how meditation practices reduce stress. Perhaps a grad student is working on a clinical study for the whole chakra mind-body alignment thing right now?

Maybe they're standing in the same puddle of spilled super-glue? Perhaps Cupid Stunt sewed their sleeves together when they were standing in line? Or could they be long-lost Siamese twins?

Wow. Just... wow.

Please, you two, don't breed. It's a fairly simple request and there are lots of ways to go about it.

he got her sign without the a cheesy pick up line. Though a we have a connection line is bordering cheesy. But maybe the earnestness came through and he avoided the creepy.
