"Can I tell you how much you DON'T want to spend $3.89 on this? Go, find something else, consider yourself lucky I was here."
--Video store clerk, to a customer attempting to rent the movie "The Avengers."
Wouldn't it be nice if they posted someone like that outside the theatre when movies like "Three To Tango" were playing?

Hey...I loved Scary Movie. Of course, I am neither a parent nor a thirteen year old boy.

My vote for worst movie (or at least most painful to watch) is Dungeons & Dragons. Awful, because I wanted so much to like it, and it just couldn't be done.

That sounds like something I had to say to a customer who wanted to rent "Scary Movie" for her thirteen year-old boys.

You know, I could see Jack Black as that vid store clerk...*chuckles*....the minute I read that it reminded me of his character in High Fidelity.

My vote for worst: Wing Commander. So bad, even the martial(no, not marital) music was stupid.

Best movie criticism ever: as the credits rolled at the end of "Trespass" (starring Ice Cube and Ice T), this guy stands up and yells "I coulda gave that ticket money to the HOMELESS!" and storms out.

#1 BAD movie of all time: Road to Wellville. Good actors, good plots, good acting, good lines. But the director couldn't decide if he wanted a comedy, a drama, or a true life & ended up making none of them. It's so bad you can't even make fun of it. I did the English Lit thing & I don't have words for how bad this movie was. If someone had paid for _me_ to have seen this movie, I still would have paid too much.

Wow, that is _so_ incredibly Clerks-ish. Except that Randall would have been more graphic about his negative review. And if you haven't seen that movie, it's great. It's directed by Kevin Smith (and if you don't know that he's the guy behind Dogma then you've been living in that cave for too long), which is a recommendation in itself.

Awh, come on. 'The Avengers' wasn't THAT bad... It was just that the Director sucked. Honest.
