True, and if you want to be very picky, the members of the band Live released an album before "Four Songs" called "Death of a Dictionary", under the band name Public Affection.
But I haven't been able to find either album anywhere, and not much info either. Though I'm considering taking votes on the cover of "Death of a Dictionary," they all look like they're about 12, and the guys are hard to identify. Anyone care to guess who's who?

actually 'four songs' predated 'mental jewelry', but the semantics of that ol' 'album vs. collection of songs' thing might mix it up
