Samiclaus?

Who makes it? Last week I popped open a 2002 Delirium Noel that was amazing. It was 10% when it was bottled; I have no idea what it was when I drank it.

I've also got 10 or 12 bottles of 2003 Old Stock Ale from North Coast Brewing and tastings of those in the recent past have been really nice.

The reason the Samiclaus was so sweet is because it has to be. In order to get the alcohol up to 14, you have have a ton of yeasty beasties and they all need food. Where's the food? In the malt.

I found the info on Samichlaus. Swiss dopplebock from Castle Eggenberg brewery. I'd love to get my hands on some, if only for the novelty. Belzebut, a French beer brewed without hops, is also 14%. Comes in 8oz bottles.
