there is a breakfast casserole where you put bread in the bottom of the dish and pour a mixture of eggs, cooked sausage, green chilies, sauted onions, and shredded cheese on top...cover with more cheese and stick in the fridge overnight baking the following morning....you could follow the same basic principle but if you layered like traditional lasagne, i think all the eggs would end up on the bottom...sooooo...either the noodles would have to be like a crust, or...
layer of noodles
layer of sausage (or ham)
layer of cheese
layer of noodles
layer of eggs and goodies (onions etc)
layer of cheese
and YES it would be wonderful topped with a white-sauce of somesort...kinda like alfredo with maybe a little less garlic...
(yes, i love my kitchen!!!!)
