Come to Poultryville, a college town just west of the Blue Ridge. The only "mall" in town is anchored by J C Penney and Walmart; the rest of the stores are totally forgettable. Most businesses not located in the mall are closed on Sunday. There's no good place to go if you want to sit and talk later in the evening with a date or spouse or friends without being bombarded by such loud music that yelling is necessary to talk to the person sitting next to you. This place is dead for a college town--especially one with 14,000 students! My daughter was right when she referred to this town as "Hicksville just north of Bumf---."
