If I worked for Starbucks, I'd be disgruntled too. Not that food service is ever a walk in the park, and I still firmly believe that if everyone in the modern world did it for at least three months of their life this world would be a safer, calmer, and more pleasant place, but Starbucks just strikes me as sooo hegemonic, and over its employees as well as in American popular culture.
