I'm months late for this thread, how's that for procrastination?

I took a geology course for a science requirement. Close to finals, I realized I was not doing well in that class and could kiss my scholarship good-bye if I finished with a C or lower (had a C- for the lab, and a not-much-better for the lecture).

So the night before the test I finally studied. Studied for hours, until I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer. Studied like I never had before. I took the test knew nothing. I was really depressed.

When they posted the test results, I looked at the center of the list and couldn't find my grade. Uh-oh, I thought. Bottom of the list, same deal. At last, I looked at the top of the list. There I was. Absolute top of the list.

Graded on the curve, I got 100% on the final, pulling my total grade up to an A-. Don't be too impressed though--I only got 64% of the questions right. It's sort of sad to think of all the geo majors taking that class who didn't get even know 64% of the answers.
