I think that's what people are doing. They're politely lining up and purchasing marriage licenses. Other people are selling them, because they believe to do otherwise IS discriminating against people based on their sex.

As Martin Luther King once said, breaking an unjust law to get people's attention -- to notice that it is an unjust law -- is a good thing. [I'm paraphrasing, in case you didn't know!] That seems civilized. Trying to pass laws or amendments that discriminate against people based on their sexual orientation (not to mention screaming abuse at them) seems uncivilized to me.

The more I think about it, the less neutral I get about it. After all, what's next?
