I shared this bit of knowledge with the woman who gave me that CD. She stared at me in horror as I sang the first verse, then growled and pretended to bash her head against the post at the corner of the porch.
I pointed out that most of Emily Dickenson's poems would fit it too, but I don't think that helped.
